There’s something magical about giving old materials new meaning. A scrap of grandma’s tablecloth, a pair of worn-out
jeans—each piece tells a story. When we upcycle, we get to keep that story going.
Some of my favorite projects come
from already-loved materials by using the features of clothing and other textiles to create texture, interesting features, and dynamic style. Whether you’re new here or a longtime follower (thank you!), you’ve probably seen this theme in
my sewing patterns and tutorials.
