Happy New Year, and thank you for being here. If you followed along, shared a project, clicked the Like button, or purchased a pattern in 2025, I truly appreciate your support. You’re the reason I get to keep creating new patterns, so thank you.

If one of your goals is to sew more this year, January is a perfect fresh start. It’s also a great excuse to finally use up those favorite scraps and stash fabrics, upcycle or refresh a few tired clothing items, and sharpen some new sewing skills along the way.

P.S. Thank you to everyone who voted for my son’s Halloween costume. He won runner-up out of 200 entrants, which was a huge highlight of last year. Now the only question is… what should we do with the leftover furry scraps?
